Just do a Google search to find hundreds of water machines on the market shelves.
Clean, pure drinking water is needed throughout the world and is quickly becoming the most highly prized resource of all. However, ninety-seven percent of the water which is found on the earth is in the oceans. It is undrinkable and is unusable for most culinary and commercial purposes. Only three (3) percent of the world’s water is fresh. Of this three percent, two-thirds is locked in glaciers and polar ice caps. Of the remaining one percent of the earth’s water, about half is located beneath the earth’s surface.
Rivers and lakes contain approximately 1/50th of one percent of the earth’s water. A significant portion of this fraction has been contaminated by industrial civilization, and much of the remaining “freshwater” is severely polluted or biologically contaminated. Unfortunately, this pollution has begun to reach our underground water as well. Continually, on any given day, more than one-half of the earth’s human population is ill, with the majority of these cases caused by waterborne contaminants.
The World Health Organization of the United Nations estimates that eighty percent of this illness is caused by contaminated drinking water. Most of the countries round the world, not only the economically backward countries, have insufficient treatment facilities of water, or are devoid of water treatment facilities. It is becoming clear that new technologies are needed in every segment of the water treatment industry: agriculture, horticulture, food processing, industrial waste treatment, public water supplies, and sewage treatment. These systems must be environmentally-friendly and rely on methods and processes that are not chemically based.
Water machine products are best described as atmospheric water generators. Air2Water is among one of these, that is a family of water generating machines which uses innovative yet simple technique (patented and developed by Worldwide Water, Inc.) that extracts pure drinking water from the air. The machine first pulls air through an electrostatic filter removing 93% of all air borne particles. As the machine collects the water it drops into a collection tray and immediately passes into Ultraviolet (UV) light, where the water stays in contact with UV rays for approximately 30 minutes. This kills 99.9% of all germs and bacteria in the water. Then the water is pumped through a sediment screen into a 24 volt water pump, and back by two (2) solid carbon block one micron water filters, NSF 53 approved, that removes 99.9% of any volatile organic chemicals (VOC’s) that may be in the water. It also filtered through our proprietary Ultrafiltration (UF) with membrane pore size of 0.015 micron to remove virtually all bacteria and common viruses. The water then goes through a half calcite, half GAC mineral additive where it is then pumped into a reservoir tank. The water is then recycled every hour through the UV and back into the reservoir tank. The water is then chilled or heated and dispensed to the consumers.
One of Time magazine’s best inventions for 2006 is called the Rainmaker. The science-fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke once wrote that “any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” Case in point: this water-harvesting machine, which can pull up to 500 gal. of drinkable water per day out of thin air. Its precise workings aren’t public, but they use a chemical process similar to the one that causes salt to absorb moisture from the air (and clump up your saltshaker). The water machine isn’t particularly portable–its 20 ft. long–but it will be a godsend for disaster victims or troops in desert combat.
These are just two of the many machines that are on the market to provide clean drinking water.

Here’s a quick rundown of what organic really means, and why I think people should only drink organic coffee.
1) Organic goods can not contain any synthetic agents.
2) Certified organic products cannot contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
3) In order for an item to bare the organic label it must only contain certified organic ingredients and/or processing agents, excluding water and salt.
4) Foods baring the organic label must contain at least 95% organic certified components, and the balance 5% must be items otherwise not available in an organic form.
5) The USDA organic logo is allowed to be be printed on any 100% organic or “Organic” item.
6) Food products labeled organic, such as organic coffee, must not be treated with sewage sludge (yes many crops are), or ionizing radiation.
I’m not trying to bore you with mindless organic labeling information, but you should know what you’re getting into with “organic” products. Onto Organic Coffee. When it comes to organic coffee, we can be confident that all the ingredients are organic, because coffee isn’t composed of ingredients like a cake.
You may be saying to yourself, “who gives a rip if my coffee was grown organically?” well here’s a few reasons:
1) Regardless of what you feel about conventional farming practices, can anyone imagine drinking something treated with sewage sludge?
2) In the USA, genetically mangled products don’t have to be labeled as such, so the only way to have a clue that your coffee was not genetically modified is to purchase certified organic coffee.
3) If you don’t like the buzz of real coffee then only drink organic decaf. coffee, or don’t drink coffee at all. Standard decaf. coffees are processed employing toxic organic solvents such as methylene chloride and ethyl acetate. Organic decaf. coffees are treated with hot water and not chemicals. Recent evidence suggest that drinking decaffeinated coffee leads to rheumatoid arthritis. More studies need to be carried out to compare current (chemical decaf.) and water processed decaf.
4) Not only are chemicals bad for us, but think about the humble coffee farmers. Many coffee farmers are very poor and can’t come up with the money for the right protective gear, resulting in toxic exposure to chemicals.
What we’ve just gone through are just a few considerations to only buy organic coffee. It goes much deeper than the coffee itself. A lot of toxins are produced in the manufacturing of non-organic chemicals.
Finally, there is the pure quality factor. Farmers growing their crops organically must pay extra special attention to their crops to ensure they are not destroyed by disease. It’s never too late to switch to organic coffee. So give it a try, you may be happy as a clam.
By now you’re probably wondering “where can I get Organic Coffee on a regular basis?” We’ll, click through to Nectar of Life’s Coffee of the Month Club!

Drinking minimum 8 glasses of water every day is essential for best health. We see that many people prefer to drink water which contain some type of added flavor. Carbonation has opened up a whole new arena of drinking liquids to satisfy almost every taste. For Example, it is the process of dissolving carbon dioxide to form carbonic acid , and we feel a slight burning sensation when we drink soda.
Seltzer and sparkling water are other names for water that has been infused with carbon dioxide to give it its effervescent quality. The gas, or fizz, that is released manifests itself in the bubbles we see when we remove the cork of a bottle of champagne or sparkling wine. It also sounds fizzy that makes senses of champagne and beer drinkers excited.
An interesting observation came up when researching articles on carbonation. It is said that all carbonated beveragesare not created equal. Some may contain more carbon dioxide, depending on the required result. CO2 can produce toxicity in higher concentrations: 1% (10,000 ppm) will make some people feel drowsy. Dizziness, headache, visual and hearing dysfunction, and unconsciousness occurs due to concentrations of 7% to 10% within a few minutes to an hour.
Introducing carbon dioxide (CO2) into a beverage increases its weight. You can prove this by weighing a bottle of seltzer, then removing the cap so carefully that no liquid come out of the bottle. Weigh the bottle again after release of the gas. You will notice a significant amount in weight loss. Shaking the closed bottle before opening it discharges carbon dioxide, you can see an even larger weight reduction. Is this the reason that daily use of these drinks causes obesity?
Club soda is a specific type of carbonated water which may contain other minerals and table salt. These additives are put in to imitate the taste of homemade soda water. Carbonated water is believed to contain high amounts of sodium, but this is not true. No anything else has been added to this water except carbon dioxide. Carbonated water may be used as a mixer for alcoholic beverages or can be drunk on its own to quench the thirst.
CARBONATED WATER
You can make your own homemade brand of carbonated waterwith a soda siphon. Fill the bottle with water, recap it, then attach it to a small cylinder of carbon dioxide, sometimes called as a “charger”. Be careful to use only food grade cylinders as other types may have lubricants in them. Screw the cylinder on till the time it is not pierced, releasing the CO2 gas into it. Then shake the bottle. The bubbles will be smaller than commercially made brands. When you get satisfied with the quality of your homemade carbonated water, add fruit flavors from allfreightfree.com to enhance the flavor of your drink.

Many companies have increased sales with the higher demand for natural organic products, in fact the shopper is much more aware what he/she buys and makes the selection more rigorously. Natural organic products speak of a quality and health promise because of the special non-processed form of the ingredients. Presently, vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy products have labels with the organic certification to inform the shopper on their validity. In fact, lots of supermarket chains have developed long-term contract-based business relationships with suppliers of natural organic products.
Moreover, consumers are more and more interested to read and learn about natural organic products, they need to know what they pay their money for. Market studies indicate that there is quite a number of people who do not know how to shop for natural organic products because of this very improper access to information. The advantages of organic foods are the main aspects one should be aware of in order to make a smart purchase. Thus, the fact that organic food means more food than conventional items should be enough to convince one to buy organic. Thus, there are more vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and healthier proteins.
There are other issues closely connected with the purchase of natural organic products. When organic food is favored, there are more benefits than you can suspect: thus, the environment suffers from a lot less pressure, for instance. This is the reason why people who choose to live a green life ban products treated with chemicals. With the emphasis on natural organic products there may be surprises in the evolution of the food market in the future.
Will natural organic products preserve a high quality level? Is there any risk of alteration of the system that favors organic items over the conventional ones? Will regular crops disappear? Predictions can be made, but the truth is that the future is constantly being written and re-written. It is easy to understand why with the higher organic food demand, many regular food producers will switch to the new conditions. However, the risk of this adjustment is the sacrifice of the high quality of the natural organic products. It therefore remains to be seen which will win the battle of regular vs. organic.

With hypermarkets becoming an agglomeration of poisoning so-called foods, and in the conditions of more and more sensitivities and illness, it’s no wonder people turn towards natural organic foods. Although analyses between non-conventional and conventional foods are relevant, the rule of the common sense is the one that influences the purchase decision. The dangers that lurk in non-organic foods are hormones, antibiotics, pesticides and fertilizers. The non-organic livestock is raised in very harsh conditions, while the fruit and vegetables are synthetically stimulated to appeal to the consumer’s eye. By contrast, very little human intervention is manifest in the growth of natural organic foods.
Natural organic foods may also have traces of chemical residues, but these usually come from nearby farms that rely on chemicals to grow crops. Furthermore, with natural organic foods there are a lot more nutrients and fewer threats for the health. If we take the example of organic eggs, analyses indicate that besides the fact that the organic product is free of antibiotics and hormones, there is less cholesterol and saturated fat, huge amounts of beta-carotene, superior levels of vitamin A, twice more Omega3 acids than in non-organic eggs. The difference is therefore huge, not to mention that the quality of the protein is significant too.
The word has traveled far about the advantages of natural organic foods, and since direct access to organic retails is not available on all geographic locations, it is good to know that one can order the various products from a close source online. If you want to buy natural organic foods, it is more likely to find them at the market than in hypermarkets. Moreover, producers of natural organic foods are more likely to be found in the countryside; therefore take the best of any trip. Run a basic research and check for supplies.
The only disadvantage of natural organic foods is their price, products will often be 10% or 40% more expensive than non-organic foods. When it comes to fruits and vegetables, take a look at the products and you’ll see the difference right away: there will be no huge perfect strawberries or apples, but various fruit sizes, some flawed, others intact. Although it is more difficult to tell the difference for meat, go shopping in markets and supermarkets and you’ll find what you need!
