Le Cordon Bleu in Paris is the most famous. Yet in classical french culinary training, a student does not go to culinary school. A student starts out peeling potatoes in a french kitchen at 15 years old and slowly learns the trade. Only the rich go to culinary school simply for the love of great cuisine.

There should be no problem with this at all—
unless — maybe– it is one of those snooty little uppity houtie toutie hoo haws that turn out "chefs" who get paid criminal wages to drizzle extremely expensive sauces over under-portioned servings of illegally imported baby seal steaks !!!

I'm planning on attending culinary arts school, but I want to know if in order to go there, would I have to take math, and history? Some schools are like this…is it like this for culinary school? It's cooking school, so I didn't think so.
I would be going to the traditional culinary arts school, located in upstate NY.
Also, would I have to have a launguage credit to go there? And, if I do, but don't have one…I know I would have to take it there. What launguages do they offer?
Thanks.
I think it depends on the school. Some are more traditional school-wise than others. I doubt you would need a language credit. You could just request some information from a variety of schools to get an idea of what they want for applicants
