I am in desperate need of finding a Culinary or Cooking School that teaches How to make different "KAKANIN" like Kutchinta and Pichi-Pichi. The preferred location is around Metro Manila only and the preferred duration of the course is for a week or less than.
Thanks.
due to the short length and location you would be better off finding someplace that serves the food you desire to learn and pay them to do a one on one to teach you!!!

I have heard recently that some folks wonder what it's like in a classroom of a cooking school. Really it's quite fun and exciting. I take you in the kitchen of my class from last week. You will see them making tarts, scones, and biscuits. I ask my students to give a lot of themselves and in the podcast I ask them what was the most important thing they learned in the class. I think you'll be surprised by some of the answers. Again, thanks for listening and watching.

I ask this question Because im a senior in high school now and i never played a sport or join any type of club or do community service. Cooking school is a trade school so do you think they care like how other colleges do?
not to the same extent, but they do like to see that you can work with a team so its not too late to join a club or something

I'm in 8th grade, and my passion is cooking. I want to go to culinary school and learn how to cook. Im already gonna start working in a restaurant during the summer, but what about in high school? what classes should I take that will help me with cooking? Thanks
I know one of my friends is going to culinary school and she's taking a nutrition class and a food preparation class. In both of those, you are able to work in kitchens and prepare meals. Hope I was able to help… Good luck!

I don't have the money or the desire to pay back the amount I'd need to generate to get a culinary degree but I like working with food and I am a good cook so I was wondering how I could get a start being a cook or a baker. Do I need culinary school or are there places that would hire me without school?
if so what are some places that would?
Food Service is the best place to work without a degree. In fact, if you have a degree and no experience you will have a really hard time finding a job!!
Apply everywhere, you may be hired as dishwasher, but that is where everyone starts. As you learn the ways of the kitchen you will be moved through the stations. You should learn the entire back of the house operations in 1 year to 18 months. Then it is time to move to another restaurant and do it again. You probably won't have to be a dishwasher again.
Once you are ready for the big bucks you can go to school.
Many of the big hotel chains will pay for it too so that's a good option for employment once you've learned the ropes.
Don't let anyone tell you you need Culinary School. Any school that will accept a student without real restaurant experience is not worth your time or money.
